PURPLE- This my absolute
favourite colour because it’s the colour of royalty and connotes luxury, wealth
and sophistication. It probably not the right colour for an interview because
it’s perceived as feminine, romantic and due to its rarity in nature can appear
artificial.
BROWN - This is the colour of the earth. It is solid and reliable.
Light brown implies genuineness and if worn to and interview or business
meeting it reflects stability and promotes communication.
BLACK –
This is the colour of authority. It is popular in fashion because it has a
slimming effect on people, is stylish and timeless. But too much black may make
you seem unapproachable.
RED – This is the most
emotionally intense and aggressive colour. It stimulates a faster heartbeat and
breathing. It is also the colour of love and passion and will always get you
but it can make you appear fuller than you are. It is not probably not the
right colour to wear to an interview.
GRAY – This is the colour of choice to for interviews because it is
not distracting for the interviewer. It represents confidence and
sophistication.
YELLOW- This is cheerful, and is an attention-getter. It is the most
difficult colour for the eye to perceive so it can be overpowering if overused.
It enhances concentration and that’s why it’s used for legal notepads
BLUE - One of my favourite colours. It’s the colour of the sky and
the ocean and the most popular colour. It projects peace and tranquillity and
causes the body to produce calming chemical. Fashion consultants recommend
wearing it to job interviews because it symbolises loyalty and control.
WHITE- White is another one that’s
popular in fashion because it’s light, neutral and goes with any and
everything. Wearing it to an interview or a business meeting projects
cleanliness and simplicity.
GREEN – This is the colour of nature. It is the easiest colour on
the eye and has a calming and refreshing effect. Dark green is masculine,
conservative and implies wealth
