Sexually Transmitted Diseases - What samples are used to test for what?
Urine test
· Chlamydia and
Gonorrhoea
Blood Test
· HIV, syphilis, herpes
and hepatitis B
Genital swab Test
· Human papilloma virus
(HPV), herpes, chlamydia, gonorrhoea, bacterial vaginosis, syphilis and
trichomoniasis
Oral (cheek) swab
· HIV
Physical exam
· Genital warts, herpes,
crabs
Technically bacterial vaginosis is
not an STI but its included because it occurs in the vagina.
Premature Ejaculation a.k.a. 2 Minute Noodle
Premature ejaculation (PE) is the most
common of the three ejaculation problems in men. It is when the man finishes
within minutes or sometimes even within seconds of starting in other words the
sex is over before it even begins. It can be a real relationship killer and a
real knock on the man’s confidence. Often the woman says “its ok baby” but he can
see the disappointment in her eyes. However, if it continues to occur the woman
can get very impatient as she gets ever more sexually frustrated and this can
lead to all sorts of other problems including infidelity, arguments etc.
Also occasionally there could be
episodes of premature ejaculation i.e. sometimes your lover boy with the
stamina of a stallion might turn into the one-minute man, this is nothing to be
concerned about as its quite normal to have a few off days here and there.
So what causes premature
ejaculation?
1. Overactive
or underactive thyroid gland
3. Using recreational
drugs such as opoids, weed/ganga/skunk/igbó/ cannabis/Indian hemp and whatever other
name it goes by.
4. Alcohol
5. Stress
6. Relationship
problems -this can be a vicious cycle because PE can cause relationship
problems which in itself can cause PE.
7. Depression
·
Masturbate/knock one hour or two before having
sex. I don't usually advocate masturbation but it does have its place in a relationship.
If you are experiencing
PE talk to your partner about it and allow her to talk to you
about how she feels. It’s better if you both deal with it together and find a solution
together.
8. Feeling
under pressure to perform especially if relationship is new.
9. Having an extra
sensitive penis
10.
Strict upbringing and beliefs about sex.
11.Bad habits picked from earlier sexual
experiences e.g. if a man as teenager has conditioned himself to ejaculate quickly
before he’s caught masturbating he will take this into a relationship and could
find it difficult to unlearn this habit.
12.A traumatic sexual experience from childhood.
What to do about premature
ejaculation.
You could
·
Use a thick condom or where two condoms to
reduce the sensation this means you can spend more time satisfying your partner
and then when you feel she’s satisfied you can strip down to one condom, if
using that as a means of contraception, or take it off if regular partner so you
can finish off as well.
·
Go to couples’ therapy to help you deal with
any relationship issues that could be the cause
Other things you try include
·
Using local anaesthetic gel or spray just
before sex. I would not recommend this though because as it can dull the
sensation for you it can also dull the sensation for her and also it can cause
skin irritation such as intense itching, redness and soreness in both of you.
·
Use love condoms. These condoms contain a benzocaine, a local anaesthetic. Although this can make you last
longer and not cause your partner skin irritation, it could very well leave you
with a sore penis so use with caution. Durex Extended Pleasure condom is an example.
·
The SSRI
(selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors) group of antidepressants. This is an
unlicensed use of these medicines i.e. when the medicines are used for purposes
other than what they are marketed for. Recently though one SSRI has been
licensed and released solely for the treatment not the cure of PE, Priligy a.k.a dapoxetine. Basically you take it
a couple of hours before you expect to have sex and it should make you last a
little longer. I should stress that it doesn’t work for everyone as studies
have shown that it works for about 40% of men who have taken it. It can cause
side effects such as insomnia, headaches, diarrhoea, dry mouth and nausea.

Facts you didnt know about the hymen a.k.a cherry- FYI its not related to sex like you think.
Now let’s set the record straight on the hymen a.k.a cherry and virginity. For many years we have considered the hymen to be synonymous with virginity. We believe that the hymen is torn the first time a woman has sex and thus some bleeding and pain occurs. And if a woman’s hymen is torn then she is definitely not a virgin and after the first sexual experience the hymen disappears into oblivion. Sound familiar? Here are some facts I bet you didn’t know.
1. The hymen does not totally
Cover Your Vagina
![]() |
| The various types of hymen |
2. The hymen is at the entrance
of the vagina.
Most people think the hymen is
tucked away deep inside the vagina and can only be reached by penetration by a
penis. In fact, this couldn't be more wrong because it is right at the opening
of the vagina, which kind of explains the confusion about virginity and the
hymen.
3. The hymen has serves no purpose
in adulthood.
Experts are not sure what the
purpose of the hymen is in adults. It is believed that the hymen acts as a
barrier in a developing baby protecting it getting vaginal infections when in
the womb. In adults the hymen doesn't seem to have a function like the
appendix.
Another misconception is that the
first time a girl or woman has sexual intercourse the tissue breaks. But the hymen
will either stretch or tear a bit in one
or two places. Often with no bleeding and little or no pain. There are other
ways your hymen can tear besides sex such as rigorous exercise, gymnastics, dancing,
horseback riding, cycling, using tampons, pelvic examination etc. As a matter
of fact, in some girls the hymen may be stretched or torn during childhood from
the activities mentioned.
5. You Might Not Know When It
Breaks
If the hymen does tear
during sex, you may find intercourse painful and experience bleeding but if the
tear occurs during other activities you may not even be aware of it. You might
bleed a little and but it down to spotting due to your period.
6. The hymen doesn’t always break
when you have sex.
You often hear about the hymen
breaking with first intercourse. It can happen, but if a woman is relaxed
during intercourse and has good lubrication and she or her partner has tried to
stretch the hymen with fingers, then it likely won't break. So, you can't tell
for sure if someone is a virgin if they have a hymen.
7. The hymen is there for life.
After it breaks the hymen just
goes off to the side of the vagina and is never dealt with again but it doesn’t disappear. Although in women who have given birth vaginally, you can't actually tell where the hymen would have been.

Kama Sutra Techniques That Gives The Missionary Position A Zing
These six ideas from Kama
Sutra will show you more exciting ways to insert your penis to make the
missionary position even hotter.
Kama Sutra Technique: Churning
Grasp your penis in your hand
at the base, then move it in circles inside her vagina.
The sensitivity of her vaginal
wall varies in different areas, so by circling all of it, you can explore new
hot spots.
Kama Sutra Technique: Rubbing
You may have been told that
you should always aim for the front wall of her vagina, where her G-spot
lies. While many woman love that move, aiming for the back side of her vagina
creates a totally different sensation—she may enjoy that for a change, too.
While in missionary position,
thrust your penis in a downward direction rather then upward. Keep your
thrusting short and sharp rather than plunging deeply.
Kama Sutra Technique: Piercing
Have her keep her hips low as
she lies on her back. Climb on top with your body higher up than you would
usually be, so that your shoulders are lined up with her head.
As you thrust in and out, your
penis will slip back and forth along her clitoris, providing extra stimulation
for her. Take it slow and easy.
Kama Sutra Technique:
Buffeting
As you thrust, pull out
completely and then penetrate again with a fast, hard stroke.
Lots of women love this move
because it’s primitive and animalistic, combining teasing and lusty
thrusting.
Kama Sutra Technique: Boar’s
Blow
As you thrust in and out while
in missionary position, aim your penis to your left or your
right, putting continuous pressure on one side of her vagina.
You might find this one a
little uncomfortable or not either way it will be fun to find out.
Kama Sutra Technique: Sporting
of a Sparrow
Make rapid, shallow in-an-out
strokes without ever fully removing your penis. For many women, the first inch
or so of the vagina is the most sensitive.

10 Things I bet you didnt know your vagina can do
I bet you didn’t know your vagina can
1.Expand during sex.
Ever wondered how it can seem pretty shallow when you're
putting in a tampon but can also accommodate even a well-endowed guy? It's called
vaginal tenting. When you are turned on a lot of blood flows to your vagina and
the blood vessels become dilated causing the vagina to become larger in length
and width. The more turned on you are the larger it gets.
Another reason I’m glad I’m a woman. We can have vaginal,
clitoral, blended and multiple orgams.
- Clitoral: when you orgasm via clitoral stimulation alone without penetration
- Vaginal: when you orgasm via vaginal penetration.
- Blended: when you have clitoral and vaginal orgasm
- Multiple: or like I like to call it the Big O, when you slightly relax after one orgasm and then get aroused again resulting in multiple experiences of orgasmic pleasure in rapid succession. I have experienced this and it is ….. wow (that’s the only way I can describe it).
3.Clean itself.
That’s what vaginal discharge is for. The discharge flushes
out bacteria and old cells to protect the womb. So just leave you hoo-ha to do
its thing because many intravaginal products and washes can increase your risk
of bacterial and yeast infections by throwing your pH levels out of whack. Just stick to regular soap and water, and let your lady parts do their own thing. And
for goodness sake do not douche, its sounds like a good idea but you will
regret it.
4.Get stronger
With Pelvic floor exercises to help with bladder control. See
my post of the pelvic floor exercises and stronger vaginal muscles http://junesecrets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/junes-secrets-tio-balls-best-kept-open.html
5. Talk to you
It tells you when it's baby-making time, period time or even
when there's a serious health risk like cancer potentially going on. Your vagina
has a lot to tell you, you just have to make sure you’re listening.
6.Protect itself
Contrary to what some people believe, the vagina is not and
endless tunnel that things can get lost in, not tampons, condoms or menstrual
cups. The vagina connects to the womb but the cervix acts like a barrier
between the two. It would be very difficult for anything to get through the tiny
cervical opening that’s anything larger than sperm.
7.Trap a penis
I’m just as shocked as you. I have seen this before but only
in African movies and it’s usually as a result of some African voodoo when a
man or woman is trying to teach their cheating partner a lesson. But apparently
it’s a phenomenon aptly named penis captivus. It’s rare but it’s real. Basically,
what happens is that during sex the vaginal muscles clamp down firmly on the
penis making it difficult or impossible to remove the penis from the vagina. If
this happens you need a doctor not sure how you will get yourself to the
hospital though.
8.Change colour.
It doesn’t stay the same colour it started with. During sex
and pregnancy more blood flow to the vagina will cause a colour change to
a darker shade than before. Then after menopause when oestrogen is lost the colour
changes again to a lighter or duller shade than before.
9. Push out a baby
The vagina can allow a 10-plus-pound baby to come through it
and still come back to a normal size. The healing process generally takes about
six months post-baby, but that's still pretty impressive considering what the
body part went through. (Nodding my head in amazement now)
10 Have two of them
Its rare but it is possible to be born with two wombs. The
vagina essentially splits into two separate cavities. Two wombs means two
cervixes but a normal amount of fallopian tubes and eggs and so sadly two periods
each month but not necessarily twins.

9 things you didn't know about sex.
1. You have two doors in your Vajayjay. So you can get pregnant even if you pee immediately after sex. You do not pee from the same opening you
have sex with. However it is important to wee just after sex to reduce the risk
of a urinary tract infection.
2. Crocodile poo used to be used as contraception. Eewww!! but I suspect
it would have been very effective as the use of poo, crocodile or not, will put
anyone off sex altogether. I would put a disclaimer advising you not to try this at home but where in the world will you get crocodile poo from in Nigeria.
3. Washing the vagina with Coca Cola or vinegar after unprotected sex
will not prevent pregnancy but might give the woman an infection and she might
still get pregnant. Just stop being cheap and take the morning after pill or
better still don’t have unprotected if you don’t want to make a baby. If you
are not on the pill or coil then make sure to take an umbrella whenever you go
out in the rain in other words use a condom.

| ONLY FOR DRINKING AND NOTHING ELSE! |
5. Ejaculated sperm can live up to 5 days in the female body and might
even be able fertilise an egg.
6. HIV is not the only incurable STD. Herpes and HPV (human papilloma
virus) are also incurable.
7. STDs like HPV, gonorrhoea, syphillis, herpes and hepatitis b can be
transmitted via oral and anal sex as well as vaginal sex.
8. Every second counts. A woman's orgasm can last a couple of seconds
longer than a man's which lasts between 10-15 seconds. Yes it's only a few
seconds more but when it comes climaxing every second you remain in cloud nine
freaking counts.
9. Semen contains calories. I personally wouldn't swallow sperm but some
of y'all do and that's fine but if you're on a diet you might want to
reconsider because each teaspoon of semen contains 5 calories. It’s not a lot, I
know, but worth knowing.
Small Penis.
I would like
to know how to make my penis larger. I'm not 100 % happy with what I have
got because I feel it is small. I would like it a little larger than it is. A.M
Hello A.M and thank you for your question. You would be surprised
to know that a lot of men ask this very question so you are not alone. Many men
worry that there penis is too small when their penis is actually a normal size.
As the saying goes it's not about the size it's about how you use it. If you’re
overweight, losing weight will make your penis look larger. This is because the
fat around your stomach may hide some of the base of your penis. Exercising
more will not only help you get in shape, but it can improve your self-esteem
and help your sex life.
However if you are convinced that your penis is on the small side
and you are not overweight and exercise regularly and want to increase the size then you can try the
following options.
![]() |
| Penis enlarger pump |
1. A vacuum pump. This involves using a vacuum pump to encourage more
blood into the penis thereby making is become more engorged than it normally
would be when erect hence making it appear larger. This is a temporary fix as
the blood will eventually drain out of the penis. There are quite a few on the
market ranging from £17 to £70. But they all work with the same principle. We
like the Ann summers penis enlarger pump for £17. They are not painful to use just a little uncomfortable. If you are in
London then purchase online or in store and if in Nigeria purchase via
www.nuerasshoppingmall.com for delivery to you in Africa, they have a personal
shopping service that you can use if you need help.
2. Other non surgical techniques include pills, supplements and
creams for which there is very little evidence of efficacy.
3. A surgical procedure to increase the length. This involves cutting
the suspensory ligament. This ligament joins the penis to the pelvic area and
supports the penis in an upright position when it’s erect. When the ligament is
cut, the penis hangs lower, which can make it look longer. However, cutting the
ligament may also cause the penis to point downwards when erect. A study in
2006 found that this procedure led to an average increase of 1.3cm in penis
length. However, only 35% of men who had the operation were happy with the
results. So seriously consider before you go down this route. The surgery is expensive and not without risks.
4.Surgical procedure to increase the girth (thickness) of the penis. This can
involve injecting fat taken from elsewhere in the body into the penis. There’s
a risk that the penis may look uneven or lumpy, and there may be scarring. The
injected fat can also disappear over time and the penis revert to its original
girth. Very little evidence has been published on the long-term effectiveness
and risks of this technique. So in effect if you choose this option you will be
flying blind into the unknown.

Beware!!!!!! There's a new STD in town

Mycoplasma genitalium aka MG is a bacteria that can live in
the urinary and genital tract. It has been know about since 1983 but the link
has only recently been made between the bacteria and sex. Most times women are
asymptomatic but some may experience bleeding after sex, unusual vaginal
discharge, lower pelvic pain, pain during sex and/or bleeding between periods. Men
are always symptomatic with symptoms such as discharge, balantitis and prosthitis may be experienced.
It is transmitted via unprotected sex and is more common in people
with multiple partners. It is easily
treated but also easily avoided, by the use of condom. So another good reason
to always practice safe sex.

Are you attracted to your husband with his clothes off????

Cynthia Bailey doesn't find her husband Peter attractive with
his clothes off.
I am not a fan of the real housewives of Atlanta but this headline caught my
eye. It got me thinking and asking whether I find Seyi attractive with his
clothes off. And I was surprised by my answer. I too don’t find my husband
attractive with his clothes off and it’s not because he’s not attractive, because
my man works out and he’s hot, it’s because for women it’s more than just the
physical. I find I’m most attracted to him when he pays attention to me, when
he’s sensitive, when he plays with my kids and reads with them and helps them
with their homework and when he touches me in a non-sexual way. Basically us
ladies are emotional (deep) and men are physical ( shallow) when it comes to
sex.

10 Things Every Woman Should Know About Her V-Jay-Jay
1. What most people call the vagina is actually
the vulva. The vulva is the outside part of the female genitalia including the
labia, the clitoris, the urethra, the vaginal opening etc. The vagina on the
other hand is the muscular passageway that connects the vulva to cervix i.e.
the neck of the womb.
2. There is no such thing as a standard vulva. They all
come in different shapes and sizes.
3. When aroused the vagina actually doubles in
length. This is known as vaginal tenting. The muscular tension in the
vagina increases when aroused, this increased tension causes the uterus (womb)
to be drawn upwards thereby increasing the length of the vagina. (Pretty cool
huh!)
4. Not all women are born with hymens. (Yeah that’s
right you read it right). So you can’t actually determine whether or not a
woman is virgin by doing a hymen check. And for those that do, the hymen varies
in thickness and amount of coverage.
5. Many factors can impact how wet you are able
to get. Including birth control pills, breastfeeding and menopause
because they can affect your oestrogen levels which is partially linked to the
vagina’s ability to lubricate.
6. To increase your chances of having an orgasm,
mix it up in bed. Combine a variety of sex acts in one
session such as penetration + oral + finger.
7. Your vagina is actually self-cleaning. That’s the purpose
of your vaginal discharge. So there really is no need for you to douche or use
harsh soaps down there, which can cause pelvic inflammation and bacterial
vaginosis or some other nasties.
8. You shouldn’t have penetrative sex for at
least 6 weeks after childbirth regardless of mode of delivery. This will
help avoid infection and allows enough time for your vagina to heal. But penetrative
sex is not the only type of sex, get creative. Checkout my earlier post on
types of orgasms(http://junesecrets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/11types-of-female-orgasms-bet-you-didnt.html )
9. The vagina is slightly tilted at about a 130
degree angle. This is why, for those who wear tampons, you
have to insert your tampons by aiming them at your back. This changes with time
though, flattening a little as we age. So penetrative sex will be different after
menopause. I wonder if that means the G spot will shift as well, (http://junesecrets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/a-guide-to-help-women-play-their-role_2.html), so might have to find other positions that help you achieve orgasm, hmmmm, that's one thing to look forward to after menopause, a new vagina.
10.
Many women
actually get things stuck in the vagina more often than you think. Usually tampons
and condoms but sometimes other things like vibrators, container tops etc.
(yeah I’m wondering as well, “how on earth???”), but no matter what it is you
can’t actually loose anything in there. There’s nowhere for it to go, it will
just remain at the top of the vagina until it is removed. If you have anything
stuck that you can’t retrieve yourself then go to your doctor, its
embarrassing, yes, but it will save you from infections, foul-smell and/or
cuts to the vagina and/or cervix.

11Types Of Female Orgasms - Bet You Didn't Think We Had So Many Types!!
I have always thought that women were short-changed in the orgasm
department compared to men, that is until I discovered that we actually have the
capacity to not only achieve multiple orgasms in one session but we can reach
different types of orgasm. Here are 11 of them. They might not all be for you
but think of how much fun you and your partner will have finding out which ones are.
1. The Clitoral Orgasm:
This is the most common orgasm and is the result of clitoral
stimulation. The clitoris is the most sensitive area on the female body, being one of the most nerve rich. When stimulated it is believed that 8,000 nerve fibers in the clitoris interact
with 15,000 nerve fibers in the pelvic area resulting in an intense
orgasm. This intensely pleasurable feeling
starts within the clitoris and sends waves of pleasure throughout the body. If you are a guy, imagine ALL the nerve
endings in the penis poured into one small area about the size of a pea. The
clitoris is so important to receiving pleasure that sexual arousal is always
felt there on some level. That is why the clitoris is so responsive to certain
kinds of touch.
Sensitivity varies from woman to woman with some women needing a light
touch and others requiring much stronger and firmer stimulation. For some
women, it’s so sensitive that touching the clitoral glans directly is often
uncomfortable and unbearable. After an orgasm, the clit may become
extremely sensitive to the point of being painful so you might not want to be touched there for a while after.
A clitoral orgasm can be very intense, but many women describe it as
“less deep” than others.
2. The Vaginal Orgasm:
If there is a shorter distance than normal between the clitoris and
the urethral meatus then it is easier to achieve this orgasm. Sadly only about
25% of women have this unique feature leaving the remaining75% of us unable to achieve a
vaginal O. This kind of orgasm begins in the vagina and either stays focused in
the pelvic and lower stomach areas, or spreads from there. The uterus, pelvic
muscles, and even anus may begin to contract during this orgasm. Those
contractions are quite strong and may actually push out anything that was
stimulating the vagina. This kind of orgasm takes longer to achieve (it
takes a woman on average 20-25 mins to achieve this kind of orgasm). Rhythmic
thrusting is often the best way to achieve a vaginal orgasm.
Some women describe it as “less intense” than a clitoral orgasm, but
more deeply felt. They feel it as a pressure that slowly grows and explodes
deep inside the vagina.
3. The G-Spot Orgasm
See my earlier post about the G spot (http://junesecrets.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/a-guide-to-help-women-play-their-role_2.html). This spot feels different in
texture than the rest of the vaginal wall. It is spongy and coarser in texture. This
orgasm is very similar to male arousal. There are different ways of stimulating
the G-Spot. Rhythmic pushing or circular friction movements are the best for
achieving this kind of orgasm. One position that is good for reaching
this sexual peak is from the back, doggy style.
Note: Pressure on the G spot will produce a desire to pee so best to empty your bladder just before so when you do get the desire to pee you can just give into it and you just might be pleasantly surprised.
With this one you could get carried away for quite some time by the
powerful wave of euphoric energy and forget where you are and what is going on
around you.
4. Squirting Orgasm (Female
Ejaculation)
Not a lot of women achieve this in their lifetime. A woman has to be
very very very comfortable with her partner in order to achieve this. This
kind of orgasm could build a very deep bond between you and your partner.
It is the most intimate and delightful thing you can share with your other
partner.
This powerful orgasm is achieved by using ancient Tantric techniques (post
for another day). It will help you release negative emotions and fill you with light,
euphoric energy and a feeling of utter satisfaction. Squirting makes other
kinds of female orgasms look pale in comparison.
5. The A–Spot Orgasm (The
Anterior Fornix Orgasm)
This kind of orgasm is not for everyone. It is achieved by
stimulating an area deep in the vagina (about 4-5inches) on the front wall.
It is the same wall close to where the G-Spot is situated. In other words, this is a
patch of sensitive tissue at the inner front end of the vaginal tube, between
the cervix and the bladder.
Some women describe this orgasm as a kind of soft electricity bringing
them to a sharp, erotic climax. Others find it very similar to the G-spot,
while some find it closer to an extremely strong vaginal orgasm and other women simply don’t like it.
6. The Deep Spot Orgasm (The
Posterior Fornix Orgasm)
Very few women have ever
experienced deep spot orgasm. This type of orgasm is achieved by stimulating the area located almost
all the way back in the deepest part of the back wall of the vagina, just
before the cervix. Direct stimulation of the Deep Spot can cause very intense
orgasms. Some women may feel as if they are having anal sex. You can achieve
this with a finger, using “Come Hither” motions. Use both long and short
strokes, or you can use two fingers if you like.
7. The U-Spot Orgasm
This kind of orgasm comes from the stimulation of a small area of
sensitive erectile tissue located just above and on either side of the urethral
opening. It is in the small area between the urethra and the vagina. If this
region is gently caressed with the finger or the tip of the penis, there is a
powerful erotic response. You stimulate this area the same way you treat the
clitoris.
Almost every woman can achieve the orgasms above but there are more.
These are less common and a woman’s sexuality is key to achieving these following ones.
8. The Breast Orgasm
This kind of orgasm occurs during a peak of stimulation to the
breasts. The nipples connect to nerves in the female genitals and many women
feel a direct connection with their clitoris when their nipples are
stimulated. Many women feel increased sexual excitement when their nipples
are stimulated but not all of them can experience the breast orgasm. This
depends very much on how sensitive their nipples are.
9. The Oral Orgasm
Some women are very sensitive in their mouths and can reach orgasm when
kissing or performimg oral sex on their partner.
10. The Skin Orgasm
This orgasm can be brought about by massaging certain areas of the female
body that are not directly connected to the sexual nervous system. Examples
include orgasms experienced by many women during sensual massages.
11. The Mental Orgasm
This kind of orgasm can happen during visual and auditory
stimulation. Examples of such stimulation are movies, videos, or sexual
behavior exhibited in front of others. Women become so turned on that they can
actually experience an orgasm from the excitement alone. So yes you could orgasm whilst sexting or having phone sex your partner.
There you have it, Happy experimenting.
